چکیده
We study the effects of quantum fluctuations in two-component Bose-Hubbard model generalizing to mixtures Gutzwiller approach introduced recently [Phys. Rev. Research 2, 033276 (2020)]. As a basis for our study, we analyze mean-field ground-state phase diagram and spectrum elementary excitations, with particular emphasis on transitions model. Within critical regimes, address both superfluid transport properties linear response dynamics density spin probes direct experimental relevance. Crucially, find that have dramatic effect drag between species system, particularly vicinity paired antipaired phases absent usual one-component Additionally, analyse contributions corrections one-body coherence density/spin from perspective collective modes providing results few-body correlations all regimes diagram.

A polaritonic two-component Bose–Hubbard model
We demonstrate that polaritons in an array of interacting microcavities with strong atom–photon coupling can form a two-component Bose–Hubbard model in which both polariton species are protected against spontaneous emission as their atomic part is stored in two ground states of the atoms. The parameters of the effective model can be tuned via the driving strength of external lasers and include ...
متن کامل- Algebraic Approach to the Bose - Hubbard Model
We give a new derivation of the variational formula for the pressure of the long-range-hopping Bose-Hubbard model, which was first proved in [1]. The proof is analogous to that of a theorem on noncommutative large deviations introduced by Petz, Raggio and Verbeure [2] and could similarly be extended to more general Bose system of mean-field type. We apply this formalism to prove Bose-Einstein c...
متن کاملGutzwiller variational theory for the Hubbard model with attractive interaction.
We investigate the electronic and superconducting properties of a negative-U Hubbard model. For this purpose we evaluate a recently introduced variational theory based on Gutzwiller-correlated BCS wavefunctions. We find significant differences between our approach and standard BCS theory, especially for the superconducting gap. For small values of |U|, we derive analytical expressions for the o...
متن کاملBose–Fermi–Hubbard model: Pseudospin operator approach
The thermodynamics of the Bose–Fermi–Hubbard model with direct interaction between neighbour bosonic particles is considered in this work at finite temperature. The hard-core boson case is considered and the pseudospin formalism is used. Charge susceptibility of the system is calculated and the possibilities of the transitions to the charge density wave order, superfluid and supersolid phases a...
متن کاملGutzwiller-Jastrow wave functions for the 1/r Hubbard model.
In this work, we study the wavefunctions of the one dimensional 1/r Hubbard model in the strong interaction limit U = ∞. A set of Gutzwiller-Jastorw wavefunctions are shown to be eigen-functions of the Hamiltonian. The entire excitation spectrum and the thermodynamics are also studied in terms of more generalized Jastrow wavefunctions. For the wavefunctions and integrability conditions at finit...
